In this series, Beckham will take his teammates, his community, and his coach back on the journey of a lifetime. The commissioner of Disney Plus is Sean Doyle who joined the Disney Plus company last year. Save our squad is created by him.
It's a fantastic opportunity to show the UK community what grassroots football is and its impact. The series will be dramatic, gutsy, heart and thrilling. At that time David Beckham had playing days and everything else - said Doyle the director.
Along with my production, I would love to create a Save Our Squad with Twenty Twenty and tell people about the kind of grassroots football I experienced growing up. The game of football has given me so much since the beginning of my life. And it's amazing to show a series about it. I have had a very long and successful career in this field. And I am very lucky to be able to guide people about all that. It was great to work on this kind of story as well as working on Disney Plus.
The Mouse House announced several series and movie titles for Disney Plus. These include 10 Marvel, 10 Star Wars, and 15 Disney live-action, Pixar, and animation.
